The Tiny Ones

Most of use feel very young children cannot do serious church work.  How shameful of us!  Which is harder for the tiniest child-  To pass offering plate or to learn to properly use eating utensils (knife, fork, and spoon)?

The youngest child in a chapel I once served, was one and half years old when she "insisted" on "passing the plate during the offering with Mom guiding her like she was teaching her to ride a scooter.  The tiny girl was thrilled.  Later, she and other young children chose a name for the chapel.  Why shouldn't they be in on the decision making of our congregations?

Who did Jesus say was the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven?  Read Matthew Chapter 18.

If when very young, the children are not urged to do serious church work in Jesus' Kingdom how can they get serious about the Lord's work as adults?

How Much Do You Know?

A famous baseball manager said, "It's what you learn after you know it all that COUNTS!"

If you don't know the LORD, how much do you really know?

Read John 3:16 and Psalm 23.
